The only one I really love is mad elf, but alas, I have to hope my friends can find it on their holiday trip to visit family.

However, I love Bell's Cherry Stout and Half Acre's Big Hugs, but neither are a Christmas/Holiday beer.

Jubelale seems especially good this year.

I miss Widmere Bros. Snow Plow

A favorite I haven't seen for years is Aass Juleol- is this even imported anymore?

They renamed the Merry Mischief to Merry Maker. Lame.

Deschutes Jubelale, Full Sail Wassail Winter Warmer, and of course SN Celebration are great winter/holiday brews.
Overall, a good Belgium Trappist ale is always great for this time of year. They pretty much go with any holiday cheese, meat, pickles, liverwurst, and crusty brown/rye bread.

Never had either of those, but I love both breweries, so I'm hoping I can find these!

The Southern Tier should be easy to find in NJ once it hits.

I was getting the St. Bernardus in NY, but I don't see why it wouldn't be available in NJ too- if you don't see it maybe ask your local store if they can get it.

Thanks! I work in NYC, but trying to make it home to relieve a babysitter makes it difficult to hit the shops that don't seem to select their beers from a hat while blindfolded. I do see St. Bernardus all over the place, but often it's just Abt. 12. I'll have to head out to Total Wine in Jersey, methinks.

Every year I get a bottle of Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome to enjoy on the first day of Winter.

Another variety pack to consider is the Winter one that has Redhook Winterhook, Widmer Brrr, and Kona Pipeline Porter. These aren't great breweries by any means but those three beers are actually pretty good.

Really? Would think it would be available all over NY. Can u get other Sixpoint stuff? If so maybe it just hasn't reached you yet. Just came out here a few weeks ago.

I work at Total Wine in NJ and I can tell you we haven't gotten the 2xmas or St. Bernardus in yet... Hopefully next week but could be the week after.

Delirium Noel. and I know it's not a x-mas beer but it should be Gulden Draak which is my tradition to drink on x-mas eve.
