Black Tuesday Release Party

As I pack up to hit the road tomorrow I went to print out my 'tickets' and realize all I have is the store receipt for the two tickets. It says "free shipping" but the status of the PO is Not Shipped and I haven't received any tickets in the mail. Is the receipt the ticket?

 

Correct, we didn't ship any tickets. We'll have your name at the door, but just in case it's a good idea to have the eMail handy on your phone or the eMail printed out. Not a problem if you don't though.

It's in the tasting room. All the pics they posted from the Tuesday event were from the tasting room.

 

I am going to the second session tomorrow and won't be able to stay very long, so i will have extra taster tickets available if someone wants to work something out. Obviously to someone who isn't going to be operating a vehicle. BM me.

 

If anyone happens to find themselves with an extra ticket or two for either session tomorrow BM me. I really want one (or two!)

 

Today's session is in the brewery.

 

And the Blackberry is amazing!

 

The party was a lot of fun. Right amount of people for a limited space (per party), and never had to worry about a line/run-out.

BT+Boysenberry was the winner for me. Nice berry jam flavors paired with the Goliath stout. I thought Some Mo' was what I wished CacaoNut to be like in my mind before release. I have never had coconut in a s'more so it was out of place in description but the flavor profile was really good.

I had a terrible Saturday, can't you tell?

 

D'oh, drunk auto-correct.

Couldn't stomach the Some Mo', tasted really saccharine to me.

My favorites were the Nitro, probably because I had it first, and definitely the Boysenberry. Next were Grey Monday and Raspberry/Cacao.

I was bummed to see that someone picked up the last Cascade Strawberry from Mr K's while I was in session A. Picked up a Cascade Apricot in consolation even though their Cascade prices are a little high.

Finished off the day with a Warewolf Bar Mitzvah at the Bruery and a SmaugLager at Smog City, now finishing a Windowsill I opened late last night.

But can't stop thinking about the Boysenberry today.

 

It all comes together, and makes sense because that is my favorite cookie. Now waiting for marshmellow/gram/cacoa BT for a true S'more. The frogurt shop down here has seamlessly pulled off gram-cracker froyo so I see no reason we can't make this a beer.

So anyone know anything new about the BT glasses being on sale?

 

They said that they'll be selling any extra glasses this coming week. They didn't tell me what day, but said to call in to see if they had any for sale.
