This years is really good. It has tastes of Gingerbread and Molasses with a nice spice finish and what we all thought was a hint of sour. Very crisp dry and delicious!

Oooooooo....forgot about that gem. Maybe it's just me, but that beer always tastes sour to me, and I love it!

speaking of spice (not the 90's soft-core **** tv station), I got to send you some Hunahpu's Stout from Cigar City. I am curious if you would like it.

No, it's not out yet. Although Thirsty Monk in Asheville has the bourbon barrel version on draught right now.

That's what I would think, but I saw a friend post it on Untappd and she said it was a huge let down. I don't know what to think... her beer knowledge leaves a bit to be desired, but Highland doesn't really do anything barrel aged. Maybe it's due to lack of experience?

Hmm, I'd definitely still try it if I stumbled on it. You're right though they don't do many (I can't think of any) barrel aged beers.

Anchor's is usually really good...but occasionally can be rough.
Celebration is a must every year.
Frambozen is really good, although not as common as it should be.
I like most of the Sam Adams Winter pack, although there are some lagers in there, too.
If you're craving something candy-like, Harpoon's is great.
