NBO: Sour BIF 5

    My target will be getting beer on Wednesday. Heading to a town who's brewery won 2 golds and 2 silvers at the GABF for one of their beers. They also have two other medals, but they don't really count for this clue.

    A box arrived today containing my targets last bottle, but I'm just trying to decide on which one to use. Planning to ship tomorrow. All 3 bottles are off of his biggest wants list, one being a newer version than one on said list. I'm pretty sure he likes whales too. My box is heading East. If I ever met you in person, I would rather have a pint of milk with you.

    I found my sender. He said he was hitting 3 of my top wants....which is gonna be a SICK box. I am super excited.

    As far as I know I haven't met my Target, but we may have been in the same building at a Bruery party on 3/17. I also visited his state for about an hour and found some Pumking - I was happy. It cost me quite a bit of money in tole fees to get there.

    Hey Dave,

    Thanks for the great box! Everything arrived perfectly in order, when I arrived home today from my business trip. Here's the haul:

    Allagash Ghoulschip (Want!) - Love this beer!
    Crooked Stave Blackberry Petite Sour (Should have been a want!)
    Armand'4 Oude Geuze Winter (Excellent beer!!!)

    Great job, Dave. Making for another great round in the sour BIF for me.

    I got swamped(read:cleaning carboys and napping by the garden) and didn't ship today. I opened my first bottle of Imperial Brett Saison with White Wine Grapes (ie: Chencho De Clercq) and carb is high, flavor is bretty, and the wine grapes are light. That will be the fourth bottle, so my box is done. I'll pack it up tonight and ship it tomorrow.

    This saison is fantastic, I hope to try the version with grapes at some point. Seriously one of the better saisons I've had, and 4 of my tasting buddies agree.
