According to their twitter feed, Fremont is finally going to start canning. Says they have been waiting three years for this. Will be canning Interurban, Universale, and seasonals. Says maybe by June

I've heard good things about them, it'll be nice to be able to try them.

It always confuses me because I live right near Fremont CA, so I always see these things and think "There's a new brewery in Fremont?"

I'll bet our Fremont is weirder than your Fremont :grinning:

Speaking as a former Fremont resident, it's still a lot less weird than it used to be.

Can't wait to get Fremont beers in cans! Six-packs of Cowiche Canyon? Hell yes!

I think it's safe to say it's a local favorite, and probably Seattle's fastest-growing brewery (nothing to back that up). Good beer, available all over the city and beyond, always fresh and a constant stream of seasonals. What's not to like?

Oh Seattle, yes. No wonder I haven't tried it haha. Thanks!

Fremont Brewing is absolutely my favorite WA brewer. They amaze me with fantastic seasonals/limiteds, regular line up, consistency, and service. They absolutely kill it here in Seattle.

    Wow, great news.

Best brewery in Seattle in my opinion, it will be nice to be able to get it in Portland (hopefully)

Great beer and brewery, but I am not a fan of the canning idea. This new can craze sucks IMO, down with cans! The only reason breweries are doing it is because it is cheaper.

Unless they're switching to 100% cans you'll still have a choice. No idea if that's the plan though. Either way is fine w/ me, cans fit better in my fridge and I can better control my consumption. I don't always feel like drinking 22oz/$5 worth of beer.

I could care less whether they can or bottle, but Fremont is the best brewery in Washington so go them.

Ya it will not be 100% so i will still be able to enjoy a bourbon barrel aged beer in a bottle and hopefully other great one off beers from Fremont. They have great beer and I love the beer garden.

Yeah, I don't really care if they can or bottle, but cans definitely are nicer at tailgates. and if I can drink cans of Universale, I will be one happy guy.
Not sure if I would say they are the best brewery in the state, but probably top 5

Well a while ago I might not have put them #1, but then I had BA Abominable.

B-Bomb and Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop are enough to put them at #1 in WA.

I can't believe the BA Abominable is still on shelves around here. I've got a bunch in the cellar. Can't wait to see how well this one ages.
