Any word on backwoods bastard bottles?

 

I think it's coming, but I hear it's going to be as limited as KBS was... AKA I prob. wont be able to score any in Austin. KBS was a shit show here.

 

Love some Backwoods.

I probably won't go crazy over it though. If I find it, I find it.

 

Plenty of the founders porter should be floating around DFW. And now that I've posted in this thread it might get deleted..

 

I hope Backwoods isn't too limited. That would be dumb. It sits everywhere else.

 

Sadly you already know how it is going to be both here in Houston and over there in Austin...

 

I bought a 4 pack at Matador in Plano last Friday. I have not seen it anywhere else yet.

 

It doesn't sit in Michigan anymore. Friends had to actively head to the shops to get their limited allotment.

Yeah, I keep hearing people say this but in the last few years it hasnt sat on the shelf in Michigan. A lot of places limited people to 1, 4 pack.

 

... you realize they've been distributing outside of Michigan, right?

 

I was in Grand Rapids last week and went to a store several days after BB dropped and they said there was no limit. Even with that no limit and a few days after the drop, there was still a lot laying around. And this was at Siciliano's, one of the most popular beer stores in GR so stuff disappears fast. Hopefully this is a sign of how plentiful it will be in TX. When I say plentiful I mean more than KBS.

 

I was just shocked when i told the wife to come home with something drinkable as she was just going to the HEB here in Bastrop.

when she came home with Devils backbone, Sam Adams winter lager(not a suprise they had it), and Founders Dirty Bastard, i was a bit shocked and very pleased.

 

1 6pk is more than KBS. I keeeed.

 

Yes, notice I quoted his post talking about Michigan. I was specifically talking about wether or not it sits on the shelves in Michigan.

 

I just moved from Kalamazoo. Sciliano's gets more than most. The bottle shops in Kzoo saw a limited release, with 2-3 more cases 3 weeks post release.

 

We should be getting our allocation of backwood bastards tomorrow - few places might get them today

 

How limited is this? More than KBS hopefully

 

64 cases for Austin. 2 cases for most accounts.
