That's just the thing bill. People always seem to want what they don't already got. Its just the way we homo sapiens are.

Will be visiting both shops today, the rain won't keep me away.
I will let you know what I see and probably get the entire list from the bottle shop.

I love Cask, Cask beer is the absolute best ever.

There are two draw backs to cask.
    1) you can't enjoy cask at home and seeing I am pretty much my wife's carer I don't get to go to the pub all that often and
    2) Every pint of Cask is a risk taken.
Okay with the majority of great ale houses this is reduced to the end of the barrel etc.
However as a live product, things can go wrong

Plus you're limited to whatever beers the pub has that day. With bottled beer you have hundreds more to choose from when you buy.

    I got away with it.
They still had the Bear Republic, also had Stone Pale Ale and SN Ruthless Rye.

When I lived in Australia, I drank at pubs about 95% vs about 5% at home.

I'd soon learn which houses took care of their Casks.

I can do that and for sure, I'd give some bottles a go but I would definitely be searching for the properly handled Casks.

Surprised that some haven't taken issue with this but Bevis, you are 100% correct. And its also one of the main reasons why I love cask.
