How terrible is parking at this location?

Not terrible. Not sure if they will allow parking in their lot or not. I'll check on that.

Lots of street parking, but in competition with every other happening venue in Wynwood.

This is exactly right... the location is basically curb side, but there's plenty of street parking.

I've emailed twice now with no response.

Are people getting email updates and other notices?

Please DM me here and I can get it sorted for you. We've turned over all of the names and rewards info over to JWB, who I would imagine would be emailing about OG and other rewards in early 2014 as mentioned on his campaign page.

We also have 1 additional OG Membership to offer, as someone recently backed out due to unforeseen circumstances. Please DM me or email us if you are interested in purchasing. Cheers!

So should we expect an e-mail from Wakefield about being an OG? Any idea if he has an e-mail list from the CrowdBrewed campaign or what? I'm just not sure how we should expect Wakefield to contact its members of the OG.

Really excited for this, although a slight haul from Pompano Beach will be down there at least once a month. Wish there were better public transportation options to avoid sourcing my DD for the ride home. Gonna be great but my workout schedule will need to increase with Funky Buddha 4 miles from home, the FB Lounge 3 miles from work and now JWB in my area!

Signed up for the OG and am excited to hear more from JWB in the new year. Don't care so much about the shirt and the glass as much as the bottle releases, dinner and brewery events. I hope they do the dinner in the vein of the folks at 50/50 that appeared to be EPIC.

been wondering about this too. i find it odd that most of us have paid about 2 months ago and have yet to receive a single email about how the brewery has been progressing or the memberships. over $111,000 invested by the collective and there has been pretty much no acknowledgement at all.

He's been about as busy as a person can be getting things together. As stated on the CrowdBrewed page: "JWB “The OGs” Members MUST be able to pick up their beers at the taproom in Florida. Members will have the opportunity to designate someone else to pick up their beers for them, but they must be picked up in person. Details will be provided to all members in the first Membership Newsletter.Reward delivery date will be no sooner than January 1st, 2014."

It won't be that date, I can pretty much guarantee, since he's flying out to do a collab with Stone on 1/1. Basically, once he has equipment in the space and starts the buildout, I'd expect an update. Mid January-ish, most likely.

According to the interview he did:

He's looking to be open in April. Basically this means be patient.

I was happy to check out his pop-up event during Basel, even though I'd rather have had it literally ANY other week of the year

While I have all the faith in Wakefield (especially considering I joined the OG club), every time he does an interview, the date of his brewery opening changes. I just hope he opens early enough in the year and the OG bottles aren't rushed when he isn't able to open until July or something.

I would assume that the club isn't necessarily January to December year, but most likely a year from opening. That would only make sense. Also, I don't believe the prospective opening has changed in quite some time. It's been firm since he ordered the equipment and leased the space. The ball gets rolling once he gets the equipment, which is still projected for mid to late January. He's good people, so expect the best.

His brewery must have the highest Stone collaborations to own-commercial-brews ratio in the industry.

A recent FB post showed a building certificate, so I think they are brewing now.

I was fortunate enough to sell my membership to someone else. I wish JWB all the best, but I had to bail.
