no one will shit on you for trying. just get there an hour early and let chris give you a recommendation and make the purchase. maybe he'll point you to an awesome shelf beer that everyone overlooks because it isn't all over the trade forums.

 

Hah, I started to fill it in, then got busy! Plus I have no idea what to bring.

 

When we lost our regular spot to host the event a few months ago I thought that it might be the end of the Chicago Beer Lover's Beer Shares.... Well it looks like we have been saved! This sounds like the perfect place for a beer share. Cheers!

For real though. Did playaplaya make it home safe? He said he was driving home shortly after he poured 2010 bcbs on the floor. He was offered couches to sleep on but declined. I'm assuming he crashed his car somewhere on 90/94.

 

i cannot believe i met playaplaya tonight and yeah, i have no idea how that dude got home...

anyway, my apologies to @quinnsi for dripping bourbon county "shake cream" every fucking where. but it was a completely ridiculous beer night and i'm super glad that so many people were able to come hang and have a good time. here's to hoping that nothing happened to the shop; it didn't look like anyone fucked anything up but i can't exactly call myself super observant...

 

I had a great time last night meeting some of you and drinking some great beers. Thanks again Chris for hosting.

 

Any other idiots go to work today? Yikes.....but it was great time, with great folks, and some superb beer. Atrial vs NG blackberry as a fight for best beer of the night. Why am I at work?

 

Guess I'm an idiot too right along with you @burica2020 for coming to work! Definitely all worth it though.

Wish I could have made it...but I did just trade a NG Blackberry for an Atrial and Bomb!...looking forward to trying it out.

Yeah, overall fantastic time. As ever, super generous people. Tons of great stuff. It was nice to finally put a name and face with some of the screennames of you geeks. Looking forward to the next one!
