I just read this in Joes six packs blog.

Tired Hands will be taking over a large warehouse space in Ardmore for its new brewery and bottling plant. Don't worry, its current brewpub on Ardmore Avenue will remain in operation

Sounds great. Lets hope the bottles will be easy to find and at a good price.

    Enjoy

To the best of my knowledge this place is basically just to bottle hophands and farmhands right?

Sounds good, hope their reasonable on bottle prices.

But seriously, what does this mean? I can't imagine they'd buy a warehouse space and not be bottling pretty consistently. What should we expect from this?

Have only made it there once, but the 3 beers that I had were excellent. Would be awesome to have their stuff in something other than a growler!

I don't think anyone knows what to expect yet. There's not enough info. It wouldn't surprise me if it's only regularly hophands and saisonhands but I figure the bottle releases will occur out of this warehouse. Plus, it'll give the Tired Hands guys way more storage space which they don't have nearly enough of right now.

So, i had heard about this months ago that they were going to expand. I was told that it was to really produce a lot of hophands and saisonhands, but not necessarily for bottling purposes. It was so more places that have requested TH on draft could get those two, mainly in the philly area. now, who knows if thats what they still plan to do, but if so, i hope some of that saisonhands finds its way to Reading.

They'll probably get national distribution through Shelton Bros. I doubt it willl be easy to find, but it'll be out there.

i doubt they will go for national distribution for a long long time, never seems to be their model. and they will never bottle hophands, they are against bottling ipas

yeah...i've heard canning is in the works.. also i know that they like to brew all the crazy stuff much more than just hophands and saisonhands..... this will allow them to keep brewing the fun stuff without tying up the fermenters with the day in day out usuals

I don't think it's unreasonable to say that they'll probably end up with a distribution deal similar to Crooked Stave or Anchorage once they have a larger production facility. They already collaborate pretty frequently with breweries that Shelton already works with.

I'd love for them to distribute in the Lancaster area once this is complete. Seems like a reasonable thing to do given their location.
