ECY now on love2brew!

    Was listening to a dr. Homebrew podcast the other day and the guy submitted a Flanders Red that he made with ECY Flemish ale yeast. JP and the bjcp judges figured the beer was 1+years old. The beer was like 4 months old!!

    I have a lambic style beer brewed with ECY20 Bug County and after about 4 months it had more complexity than most commercial sours I have tried. It is moving in on the 1 year mark for me now, I will probably be adding a fruit puree and bottling soon.

    Almost ordered some and then decided $17 for yeast is a bit much.

    My shipping was quoted at $14. I don't need grains/equipment at the moment to justify the free shipping($75). I would really like to get my hands on these Bugs!

    Yeah I added the bug blend and American ale blend to my cart and it came out to $34 with shipping. As much as I'd like to try ECY I doubt I ever will with the high shipping prices on love2brew.

    Did you adjust the shipping ? USPS to Ohio was like $9 to Ohio.

    Yeah the ups shipping is crazy but the USPS is very reasonable. You just gotta change the carrier.
