Kiwi Rising in Mass

So is Kiwi Rising only bottled once or is there a chance it might show up again at some stores. One shop rang me up a single bottle for $3.85 which I'm guessing was a mistake.

 

There is no more I went last night at 8 and it was gone...they only got 2 cases between their stores, baur didnt have it last night and neither did the place by kenmore...but it hasnt come in at those places so I will be checking the next couple days.

 

I feel like it was at least two waves last year, either that or baur was putting it out staggered...for a month long period I was able to grab some and mid month there looked like they got more...not positive though

 

That's a good price. It is $5/bottle at Jack's Abby.

 

I work at Craft Beer Cellar in Newton and we have a fair bit. Come and get it!

 

I though it was somewhere between Heady Topper and Stone Enjoy By without the heavy/sweet malt of Heady or the booziness and toasted onion of Enjoy by. Pungent piney hop flavor and very clean, dry finish but not all that bitter.

Well done.

 

I thought it was similar to Kern Citra DIPA.

 

Its better then Alpine Nelson, has the flavor profile with a crisp finish...easily my favorite beer last year behind some of the brews from VT.

 

Kiwi Rising is great. But after trying a bottle last night from this year's batch, I think I slightly prefer Mass Rising. So glad the latter is the one being brewed more often.

 

Just picked up 2 bottles at Bogies in Beverly for 4 and change. No bottle limit.

 

They had a bunch last night, they don't always put all they got out cause they have a hard time doing bottle limits.

 

I bought 10 btls at the brewery on friday. I am going to savor each one and share a few with folks outside the dist area

 

Just picked up 3 bottles at Rapid Liquors in Stoneham at $4.20 a bottle. Great price and all around number.

 

had it on tap last night. amazing - better than in the bottle. a creaminess I'm not sure I've had in a beer like this
