Yeah... it's a touch under 70 if you can find it at Spec's. I'm also 90% certain I saw it at South Lamar Wine & Spirits this past week if you're in ATX.

 

We even get their 111 offering. Forgot the price check on that one though. Original Whistle Pig was $67

More empty barrels means a greater chance of a future Rare showing up right?

Yep, picked up a 4 pack. I usually swing by there once or twice a week. By far, my favorite store.

Yea man, the bad thing about ma & pa liquor stores is that if they get any, they mark up- ALOT! I know "they all do" but goody goody and specs, if available, are still within the retail price window.

My best suggestion, and this is how I got my 2 this year, is to go to the PVW website look up your state, and simply call all the stores on the list. Now obviously some of them have lists and there's no chance, but others have bottles that are marked up and since it's less than a week in the state now's your best chance.

Backwards Bastard is out in Houston. WF Waugh has one 4 pack left of their case and still has some FUN007 no limit.

 

I got turned down at WF Waugh about 10 minutes ago.

 

What kind of a mark up are we talking, msrp is 70 for PVW 15 right? So I'm guessing 100 dollar range?

 

The price at a bigger place like goody goody is:
$199 20 yr
$349 23 year
$449 23 year special decanter set

I know the 10 & 12 year old rip van winkle series was going for $80 and $100. Last year I bought the 15 yr at $120 (including tax), so I'm guessing that the regular price still seeing how goody goody manager said they had not changed prices.

 

There were still a few as of noon today. You have to ask for it. When I called Specs Live Oak at noon they said they may be getting more today.
