I need a single Rumpkin for a trade I'm doing for some Heady Topper. Anyone know of a place in the Denver area that still has it (preferably on the south side of town)? Thanks CO BAs!

You might be out of luck. I know that Cornerstar is running a contest right now for a 2012 vintage, that's the best i've heard.

Trade for it. I'm sure there's a Denver BA with an extra Rumpkin sitting around.

Great Vines liquors near Southlands mall in Aurora, CO had a couple, if you're still looking.

Great Vines??? Wow. I stopped going to that store because they were lacking. Time to revisit.

Head straight to the Bomber Room. They had Uncle Jacob's Stout there for a while as well.

They must've changed the store layout since I was last there. They didn't used to have a bomber room...just the coolers along the side. Great!

There have been a number of bombers I've attempted to purchased who price wasn't in the system post-scan, so they're still working out some kinks. Additionally, their check-out folks are a little shocked at the prices of some of the beers...so clearly not too knowledgeable of a staff, but probably a moot point for most BA

They have a rewards program now too.

I'll have to check out Great Vines. I'm right by Cornerstar but I think I'm done with that place. I was in there yesterday and it was dismal. Half the shelves were empty. It has been like that the past few times I've been in there.

Great Vines is still not "great", but it works in a pinch. Last time in there (about 2 weeks ago), they had a Rumpkin sitting on the shelf. But, not much of the rares otherwise. I asked the beer guy about Sucks, he never heard of it. I asked about Bourbon County last month...he never heard of it. Lots of the usual suspects; plenty of Stone, Clown Shoes, etc. Worth a visit every now and then though...who knows what they'll have.

They also have a "request book" that you can scribble down the beer you're looking for and sometimes they'll get it. It worked for Uncle Jacob's Stout, but I had request Sucks as well...and I don't believe they've gotten that in since i made the request.

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area as they can surprise you every now and again.
