I will be there Thursday at lunch. I guess I should check their hours. Did they limit the other BBs they have gotten?

Spotted some bottles of BB5 still in the cooler at Hughie's yesterday.

World of beer in SA has some BB5, they also have BB4 left. Limit 2 per.

Tried the BB5 the other day and wasn't a huge fan. As a few people mentioned earlier, the barrel was a bit heavy handed for my taste. Granted, my pallet was destroyed by several other BA beers and sours, so maybe I should give it another shot.

I like it a lot, easily my favorite BB. I like the caramel and vanilla with heavy handed bourbon and as stated above the best mouthfeel of the series. This just set me back some series cash but I am buying this one. Anyone with some successful DR4 blending notes please pass them on.

Just got some at Craft Pride in Austin. I asked for two and they made me drink one while I was there. Guy said they only had 12 when I came in so it won't be there for long. Pretty hot but delicious.

Any idea how much BB5 is at WOB in SA?

I believe Big hops will have it tomorrow night. Pumpkinator on cask as well. Bought BB4 there last time for around $6.

As great as that sounds I'm probably going to Flying Saucer for Stout Week. They plan on tapping KBS that same evening.

$7 I think, did not ask about the amount of bottles they had though.

BB5 is super boozy, I personally don't mind it like that - I'm sure it'll age VERY well.

Did this last night. Good stuff. Price is $9 for the on-premise beer and $8 for the take-home. Can't get the second without drinking one there, but if you were already planning on drinking one and saving one, like I was, this is a decent deal.

Tried it last night. I do think it could benefit from time. It was way to hot for me and I think the bourbon barrels completely overwhelmed the beer. It was very hard for me to detect any of the base beer.
