Seems so hit or miss. for me. 5 was great, August was too. 9 was awful and Novemer was solid.

    Give me more consistancy.

Really liked November, but was not a big fan of October. July, August, April were all winners in my book. Also depends on when you get it, though. Earlier in release cycle's usually best.

At this point, I've had multiple bottles of several different releases and they all had different characteristics both in the aroma and taste. Had it just been the taste I would've chalked it up to my palate or state of mind, but my nose doesn't lie :stuck_out_tongue:.

Love Brindleys, but I don't remember you getting Enjoy By the last time around. I had to pick it up at ABC. Are you expecting some this time?

    I think I still have onion breath from the 9.13.13 release . . .

I've tasted every release since 2.15, mostly on tap, and I swear I don't know where these onion comments come from. Does something happen when it enters bottles? Crosses state lines?

I agree wholeheartedly! I haven't got an onion flavor from anyone of them and have had 85% of the release. All I get is hoppy goodness!

Has anyone drank any of these after the enjoy by date? If so, what are your thoughts? I've seen a couple bottles of the previous releases on shelves, after the enjoy by date, but I haven't bought any of them.

Throwing some of these as extras into boxes going out today. None of the boxes are headed to the above. Hope they enjoy!

One of our stores still had the August one on the shelf at 40% off. Might pick up one this weekend and try it.

5.99 at total wines in Orange County. I bought 4 and they got 6-8 cases. really tasty but the main thing that will keep me buying them is my empty collection looks good with an enjoy by section

I'm probably a little late to the party. Had a couple of these and loved them.. but was a little tipsy each time. Is this the same recipe each time or do the switch up the hops?

I drank the 10-25-13 on halloween and it was just as good as the one I had earlier in the month. it had oodles of tropical fruits

I assume people who taste onion are people with under evolved taste buds. Kind of like how some people are born with tails, and wisdom teeth.
BTW relax I am joking. But yeah I have had a number of releases and never gotten an onion taste.

The reson for the dates is to ensure freshness. So instead of looking for a bottle date to see how long its been on the shelf, you can see it big on the bottle. If you dont mind couple of month old sculpin i dont think it will bother you.
