    Bombers? I probably wouldn't do it still. If they're 12oz that's insane.

I look at beer prices this way:

Are you comfortable paying whatever price the seller is asking? If the answer is yes, don't worry about it too much.

Um, $50 can buy you as good of beer and more of it. Where is this for sale?

For two 12oz, that's pretty bad. If they were bombers I'd probably go for it though.

The 2009 bombers were $12.99 a piece when it came out in 2009, four-packs of 12oz bottles were pretty much the same as today ($21.99-$24.99). So yeah, in either case, $50 is way too much.

if it's two bombers, i'd drop 50 bucks on them without even thinking twice. for two 12oz, probably not.

Not being able to get it pushes the price up too. Though I'd say it's high, not having access to it ever would make me consider it at least. I've landed a few 2012s in trades and be highly grateful, I'd be even more so with vintage bottles.

If they are bombers I wouldn't hesitate to buy them at $50 but not 12 ozers. Tried a 2008 bourbon county and it was incredible... aged to perfection.

If it's bombers I don't think that's bad. I mean you don't think someone had the right to double the price of they have had to have it taking up space in their cellar? If it's a business every square foot cost money so every month a beer takes up space the more you need to add on to its tag for its portion of the overhead.

I wouldn't do it. You can find bombers on the trade forum that wouldn't set you back near that amount.

I bought two 09 bcbs from some guy in Delaware for $16 for the two. He had tons of it too. I could have gotten 6 for how much you're getting ripped off.

while i agree that it's overpriced either way, $13 in 2009 was actually a bit of a "great find" for BCBS. that's sort of why we all bought so little of it (whale hunters of today should thank us).

It was a mixture of 4-packs and bombers, and 2009 is the only year they have done that for regular Bourbon County.
