Most of the BA feedback for Third Shift is so-so, but if it's like the Original Schlitz, which I like, maybe it's worth checking out.

I'm with you there. Can't find it in town (Conroe, north of Houston) anymore. Shared a pitcher of it one time. Loved it.

Sadly, can't get Three Floyds in Texas.

I've had it. Not bad, but could use a bit more malt backbone, IMHO. Although the BA individual ratings for this one were all over the map (some loved it, some despised it), I think an overall 84 rating is pretty close to on the money.

I was about to say that. Pipeworks has a lot of very good beers. Anything from Solemn Oath is excellent to, they are yet to disappoint me, cant wait from them the start bottling.

Smuttynose Old Brown Dog...not sure why I love it so much but I just find it to be delicious everytime I have it.

Harpoon's Imperial IPA (I think it was part of the Leviathan series) is really pretty good, and I don't hear people talking about it much at all.

Other than for people who live in downstate NY, or people like me who made a road trip to visit from Western NY, Peekskill Brewing is a real sleeper. More people need to know about the great work their head brewer, Chief, does there.

Sun King's Timmie. This is wonderful imperial stout, one of the best I have had. If it were aged in barrels I would be in heaven.

Had a buddy send me that last month, but the growler leaked en route :slight_frown: I could tell it should be an amazing beer, but I don't think I got a fair shot at it.

That is a bummer. Supposedly being bottled around February 2014, but we'll see. So funny that CBC bottles all kinds of average beer and they have a legitimate Top 5 DIPA on their hands and they can't seem to figure out how to distribute it.

That's the exact same thought my buddy in OH has. Hopefully I will be able to try some legitimate Bodhi next year then. He's sending me some White Rajah next week. 'Twill be my maiden voyage on the WR vessel!
