Deschutes Green Monster in TX?

If we do... it'll be way late... and a huge surprise to me.

 

1) Yes we are getting it.

2) It will be very, very limited. As in, the most limited Deschutes Reserve release they've ever done in Texas.

3) Good luck getting any now that the cats out of the bag and the hype train has been set on the tracks

I grabbed 2 bottles when I was in Southern California this past week. To add to the hype, for a brewery that doesn't do many sours, this is their best one yet.... even if it is a 40 month old beer at this point

 

I will be in Austin October 25 - 28 from Seattle. I'd be happy to set up an in person trade with folks that want Green Monster and maybe some other PNW goods (Fremont's Kentucky Dark Star is out soon, I've got access to a bunch of Portland goods, etc). I'll probably be hitting the Jester King sour fest ... and would love to get some rarer / delicious texas items (Jester King, Freetail, etc). Shoot me a line if you're interested.

 

What did it cost? I know an online place that has it but they want $39. Lol

Got a one at Kegs and Barrels in Plano this afternoon, only had one case. I should have left it for someone else but was in a hurry to get out of town and grabbed it on a whim. I'm not too excited about it, so if anyone around wants it, BM me.

 

Found it in San Antonio sitting on the shelf for $14.
