Steves UAve still had some today, so I got a bottle.

 

Yes, but maybe only one every two or three months I'm able to make it to the Nova, so I like to grab a few when I'm there!

 

Picked up my bottles today, thanks again for bringing the Quad Cities into your distribution network. I'll be enjoying a bottle shortly.

 

Right, and you buy strictly to trade. I said in my post that chasing it for trading is something that makes sense to me.

 

So wait...people who seek out bottles simply because they want to.....you know, drink them, don't make sense to you? Some people are fucking mind-boggling!

 

Nah Bottlecaps! I just am of the opinion that I don't need to chase this one because it is virtually on a rotating tap where I live. Honestly, I'm pretty ecstatic it sells so well, because TG is good people, and a great brewery. And I remember when I used to drink Naughty and wistfully hope for a day when that stuff was bottled.

Anyway, if that still did not clear it up, throw me a BM and I'll try to help unboggle myself for you. Keep up the good fight that you fight in this thread, and drink big!

 

I have trading partners that want Sue. I gopickitformebro when it comes out. I had to make a couple extra stops this time. Pretty simple.

They had like 3 cases left with a 3 bottle limit at 3:33 yesterday

That's what I have been trying to relay to those who say to go get TG at bars in DSM. It's not that simple most of the time.

 

Anyone out there have extra they are willing to get some good East Coast stuff for? Tried recently and think is amazing. Sitting on some good stuff (e.g., Heady) that might be of interest.

 

My wife was in the Dells this weekend, so I asked her to stop at Liquor Central this morning to pick some up for me. I called ahead and the guy said he got four cases in. My wife said they had all of them sitting out with one cut open and one bottle missing from it. He was more than happy to let her take a case.

Props to the dude at Valley West for disrespecting the 2 only limit by grabbing 6. Classy move. For those of you who aren't familiar with Valley West, it isn't a HyVee Wine and Spirits, its just in the middle of the store and on an honor system. I'm sure the checkout folks are told about the limit but its probably not their priority.

 

Just saw some dude boasting on Twitter how he grabbed a case from the Mills Civic HyVee and " re-stocked" his Sue supply. Considering each store in DSM only got 3 cases this time, that is lame.

 

The Dells, the place that has amazing beer because no one is there to buy it. I struggle to understand how such great beer ends up there with a lack of beer geeks to create a stable market.

 

Honestly though that is what I hate about places that do honor system..Either have no limit or have a limit and enforce it.
