Same here...I am nostalgic because it is one of the non-super-macro beers that got me into craft. That being said, maybe I do regret it because it started me on this ridiculous obsession with beer...

A clerk at a beer store suggested I should try Mission brewery's Shipwrecked DIPA. He suggested this because I was asking about some world class DIPAs... This one fell somewhat short of that mark... I couldn't find a date on it, but unless it was 2 years old, I don't like it.

Traded for Mrycenary. Could have traded for something else I couldn't get and walk 2 mins to the liquor store and gotten an DIPA a thousand times better.

Popped a bottle of inferno after I had a few too many. Fell asleep half way through. Not really rare but I wish I could have actually enjoyed it!

Had a similar experience with my last KBS, I was quite hammered and lucky enough to stumble across is at a local bar at 1:30 am and couldn't pass it up. Worst part is I don't remember it, was told that I ordered it in the morning by the girlfriend...:astonished:

I had De Struise Black Albert on tap last night. Considering how much I love Pannepot, and the high ratings for Black Albert, I was surprised how repulsed I was by it. It was a straight up licorice and molasses bomb, which are not my preferred flavors in an RIS. I actually resorted to chugging some to get rid of it faster.

Totally agree!! I understand that Dale's is not something outrageously innovative and sought after but the "Coors of craft beer" comment was a little much for my taste.

Moylans Hopsickle. Wanted to spit out the first sip and dump the rest, but since it is a sin to waste beer, I tried to chug the rest of the pint. Almost yacked, but got it after 3-4 chugs. And another beer after to rinse that horrid, terrible taste from my palate. It's been about 2 years ago, and I can still remember how bad it was.

Sour in the Rye after my palate was wrecked from drinking other great beers. Sometimes the beers I want to try the most should be opened FIRST.

this beer from bells. It wasn't two heart. but the label had an ocean on it or some shit. It was sour and wasn't suppose to be. I mean i appreciate my friends with making me a six pack (and I did love reckoning porter and the tree hugger). I made my friends sip it. ugh. IDK how I drank it.

Atwater Grand Circus IPA. I kinda thought it might be a decent midwest IPA, but it was an acrid, bleachy, mouthful of crap.
