Sierra Nevada Celebration in Waco/Central TX?

    Perhaps this is too specific to get any attention here as I don't know many other BA's in Waco or Central TX but I figured it couldn't hurt. I can't seem to find Celebration anywhere and the excuse I keep hearing is that it's because Tumbler isn't sold out yet in our area but Tumbler isn't on shelves anymore either. There's just holes in the cold boxes in three different beer stores where it says "Sierra Nevada Seasonal."

    Anyone know what gives?

    I've been trying to order it for 3 weeks now at my store and the distributor keeps saying they don't have it in the warehouse yet. Crossing my fingers for this week.

    I hope it pops up soon as well. Typically though, we will get it later than most. Let's just hope it's not old once it hits the shelves like Founders Double Trouble was.

    Yeah, that was a bummer. Haha, FBS is sitting at the new HEB on Valley Mills now! Saw three cases on the floor yesterday... Didn't see that happening!

    Yep, that's where I've been buying mine. I have a case of it in my cellar right now. I'm trying to drink on the stuff all winter, haha.

    Temple here, 12 packs only from what I've seen. But specs had it on sale for 10.99 or so cash when I bought some

    I have noticed us not not getting fresh SN stuff lately here in Houston. I guess the expansion is to blame or the distro. I used to see stuff that was a week or two old all the time at specs and HEB. Now the youngest is two months old.

    Just got 6 pack at temple specs ( I live 5 minutes from there) and they also have narwhal if that floats your boat.

    cool to see a waco/temple thread, seeing as i also live 5 minutes from temple specs, does anyone know if we are getting abyss again this year?

    I would assume so. They have had it for the past 2 or 3 years. I remember when I bought my first bottle. There were at least a dozen sitting on the shelf. No limit either. But last year they only got 1 case and had a 1 bottle limit. But, I know Dancing Bear had some Abyss 2 days ago.
