Since I'm related to about half of the residents of the Greensboro, Hardwick, and Walden area, what are you trying to say about my people?

It was a little harder for me a few weeks ago because the "Taylor Rd" sign on Rte 16 is missing. I'd look on a map before heading up there for some landmarks to get your bearings incase the sign hasn't been fixed yet.

Last release was at 11. I showed up a bit before that. But people who showed up at 1, or later had no problem getting Biere de Norma.

Just my two cents, don't show up at 9:30. I did last time and was the first one there by a half our or so. Other than that I didn't think it was terribly hard to find just a long way outta the way. Both days I went up it was an 8 hour drive.

I know a few people have said that showing up at release time will get you beer but if I was making this one I would be etting there early. Yeah, Norma was a small crowd. But I think that since that was the only beer and it was a one bottle limit, many decided to not make the trip. I was at the Damon/Mimosa release too. For that I was there at 10:30 for a 12pm release and we were 8 and 9 in line. But by the times the doors opened there were an easy 150-200 people there.

As with most of these releases, it seems that many grow in each subsequent event. Safe bet would be at least an hour early imo. But that's just my .02.

Oh and if anyone is looking to trade any E. and Art, please contact me and maybe we can work something out.

I don't think anyone who showed up at the start of the mimosa release wasn't able to get full allotments of each beer. Even at the BoT/Civil Dis release you were fine showing up when they started. Theres no need to create a huge line way early on the farm.

Alot of different opinions here. My brother is working til 8 am then we will be getting on the road. We will be driving from albany so probably getting there at around 12 and now im alittle worried.

We will be the ones pulling in cranking Yonder Mountain String Band. One of my favorite crazy road trip bands of all time...

Absolutely everyone got their allotments. I even think they had left over Damon and Flora the next day. Everyone is free to do as they please, but since the OP asked, I would get there early. Just take the LeBleu release for instance, No one thought there would be 300+ people there.

I'm early for everything though. Beer releases wouldn't be any different for me.

FYI: I will be there with an extra Belgium Comes to Cooperstown ticket to sell - is the Sat. session w/ camping. Please no beermails or advance arrangements (no time for no-shows this busy weekend!) Whoever finds me first and gives me $100 cash for it gets it.

Ha, beat you there! I'm third in line behind a racoon and an annoying fucking squirrel who keeps taking about ebaying all of his allotment.

My wife and I are making our maiden voyage to HF. We're leaving Boston around 6:30 to 7:00 with an ETA of 10 to 10:30. According to Phil@Hill "showing up at 11, you should be fine", and yes "expect it to be busy". Unbenowst to her, we will be splitting up into the growler/bottle lines for improved efficiency. Why else would I bring her? No no, shes great. We will also be stopping by Prohib. Pig for lunch after. If any BA's spot a dude with a beard and glasses having lunch, say hello. I'm totally sure I'll be the only one with that MO. A better identifier... my wife is way more attractive than I.

That's a fact - cash only. No checks, credit/debit cards. No local ATM either so come prepared.
