Take a look at their Facebook page. They're doing a beer advent calendar with 25 different beers. Gotta call the brewery or show in person to pre-order. $100 and you can pick them up the day after Thanksgiving. Got me one! What a great idea.

Wondering if they are allowing a trustee

Give them a call tomorrow. Unlike other places they actually answer their phone. I think as long as you pay for it in advance you can have someone else pick it up. They are going to send out an email with pick up instructions too.

100 bucks for 5 or 6 good beers? No thanks.

I love the idea, but I'm not paying $100 for mystery beers. They should let people know what's in them.

It's an advent calendar, not a variety pack. The mystery is the point.

Then I was wrong, I do not love the idea.

Normal Greenbush sixer = $12.99 or so. That makes a case $51.96 plus deposit. Considering there are 25 different beers in this case one can only assume it will have all of their normally distributed offerings included. So why the huge price increase for beers I can potentially buy on the shelf? I think it is a cool idea and I could see paying $60-$70, but seriously $100? So much for the holiday spirit...

Do we know there aren't any interesting bombers included?

I'd be onboard, 'cept I don't wanna drive there and back on Black Friday.

I'd be shocked if they included any of their shelf beers in the 25, but who knows.

Interesting idea, $4 / beer is not outrageous these days, but it all depends.

Per the FB post "expect to find mainstays, seasonals, specialties, and rarities"

I would agree that $100 is realistic if it were all specialties and rarities.

Scott brews at least half a dozen good BA beers and Im betting there will be at least 5 in the box.

Besides, its the holidays. you're supposed to pay too much for stuff...

Gotta give him credit for originality. First time Ive ever seen this.

I bet you'll find 5-6 shelf beers and the rest may be seasonals/rares. Cabra Perdida? Dystopia?

    I bit.

I've only been to Greenbush once before and don't know the area well. Obviously I'll be hitting FFF on the way to or from there -- but can anyone recommend any liquor stores/bottle shops in Michigan near Sawyer? Would love to get some Short's product at minimum.

So who's gonna be the badass who opens all 25 at once and posts the beer list for us to see? I'm especially curious to know what is in that velvety sack.

For 100 bucks a case, they better all be Imperials.

No way. I'm gonna post about the beer each day so people can live the experience of getting a surprise beer per day vicariously.
