This is what the papa Barbapapa looked like before all those kids became teenagers and took all his money, stole his booze, started dating unsavory barbapapas', and destroyed his ability to smile. Now he looks like the beer label........

To this day I can't get the theme song out of my head, and regardless of how good Dann's beer is, I never will.

 

The same time frame that brought us H.R. Puffinstuff and The Great Space Coaster.

 

Both those shows warped my youthful mind on many levels. Now I see my kid plugging into Uncle Grandpa and Adventure Time. The more it changes the more it stays the same.

Agreed, when I saw the name I expected the strange French Canadian cartoon I watched on wsbk channel 38(UHF) as a kid in Massachusetts.

 

It really is, strong baker's chocolate, hints of vanilla, a bit boozy in just the right ways. Fantastic.
