    I'm a big fan of Rayon Vert, carbonation and all. However, I won't be buying it anymore in larger bottles. I like having the 12 oz size and it fits perfectly for this beer. I'm also not going to pay more for a beer just because it's in a larger bottle. Sorry, making a stand on this one. Put it back in 12oz bottles at a reasonable price and you'll win me back.

    I love RV. It's the most affordable brett bomb out there. It's good to hear it's coming back, and I appreciate you acknowledging the carb issue and doing something about it, but don't take away our 4 packs!

    I'm pretty sure Helios is made with brett, it is just pasteurized before bottling, so it doesn't age in the bottle.

    You might be right, and I, just misinformed. Either way, love Helios

    Unless you guys have already gotten label approval for this beer (and maybe even if you have), I might consider a name change as this beer exists, and I know Terrapin, rightfully so, has asked brewers not to use beer names they currently employ.

    Where does it say in the original or in the follow on clarification in this thread from the brewery that the beer is going into bombers? 500 ml and 750 ml sizes are not bombers mister ....

    in my nabe, a 750 is a bomber...regardless of what a pedant like yourself might fuss over

    my statement was fairly accurate, where as your retort was way off

    Lol! Whatever works for you. As for me, a bit more than 3 oz of beer is a difference worth caring about, not having cash to burn.

    My next story will be, "Mr. Holepoker".
    Well, a 750 is 25.4 oz and a bomber is 22 oz. So I'm gonna call a 750 a bomber and a bomber a 750 and we'll be close to even, OK?

    that difference is negligible when you consider how much you'll be losing when it moves away from 4-packs (the woe of my post)

    Just because everyone around you wants/likes to be wrong does not make it so.

    bomber = 22oz

    Looks like another beer I won't be purchasing any more. The 4 bottle format was perfect for my needs. Sorry to see it go and be replaced by yet another large bottle format.

    After having sampled this beer for the first time two months ago, I was absolutely blown away it. It was a clinic to pour, but patience was rewarded with the smack on the palate of the best brett beer I have ever had. In fact, this beer is one of my all time favorites. Unfortunately, Green Flash hadn't made its trip to my area yet and I was left to dry. I live in Minnesota and was elated, to say the least, to buy it locally when Green Flash arrived in my state about a month ago. They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder... I guess I will just have to drown my sorrows in some West Coast IPA.

    agree with the whininess of the OP. market necessities or not, this is a step in the direction.

    Bummer. A favorite memory is seeing the rayon vert on the Cape (MA) while drinking Rayon Vert. Ah well, captalism has its virtues and vices - "Money doesn't talk, it swears."
