BR probably will improve with age. I'm the opposite of you on DW but hey, to each their own. I'm excited for the feature of Texas craft beer

Split a bottle tonight with a great frito pie. I totally agree with Chad's opinion. It's a great beer but 22 oz's would get very spicy.

I see this as a big challenge to other breakfast beers. This would be stellar with tacos in the AM, but it worked well with dinner too. Interested to see how BA or Weasel versions of this taste. It already has a lot going for it. Happy to have purchased 1, even happier to have 2 in reserve

The BA version will have to be expensive just to cover the expense of making it. I want to try it for sure, wish we could have had the same sample as the regular to compare to the BA though.

So is this in stock anywhere in austin still? or has it not hit the main distribution (specs and whole foods and HEB)

Barrel aging is expensive in general (takes up space, takes a long time to do, and results aren't guaranteed), but $200/lb weasel coffee is going to hurt the pocketbook.

I drank the whole bottle of BGR to me self, no problems with heat. I really enjoyed how the pepper is carried through the aftertaste.

I really enjoyed that myself, it didn't even seem to mess with the beer itself(the heat), just lingered after each delicious sip.

just scooped a bottle of BGR at Whole Foods on Montrose(Houston). They had just pulled it out the back and had a couple of cases. $12.99 a bottle.

Found bottles at Specs Arbor Walk and Brodie on the shelf $15/bottle. Also Central Market Westgate had a little left last night for $13/bottle...1 bottle limit though.

Just picked up a bottle at Gabriels in SA. I detected the chipotle peppers, but found them very subdued and well integrated. Not overpowering at all to me. Really enjoyed this (the WHOLE bottle  )

One bottle of this left at CM fort worth. I'm putting it with the stack of FM Black Metal to the left of the beer cooler

There are still a few bottles at Whole Foods Kirby in Houston. You have to ask someone in the beer/wine dept and it's a one bottle limit.

I just got two bottles at about 30 minutes ago. I believe they have two left. Anyone going there needs to ask their beer guy because they are not on display. He will get them for you.
