I've only ever tried one. From a company called Beau's. And it is the Tom Green Milk Stout. Wonderful beer.

Best two I ever had was Surly Four (compliments of Maximum12 and Wisconsinbeer1) and Depth Charge collaboration from Terrapin.

All the others mentioned here are good examples. Pipeworks has a couple good ones. I still have yet to crack my Michigan Mud from Kuhnhenn.

Moloko from Three Floyds is leaps and bounds ahead of the other bigger milk stouts that I have had. It manages to maintain all the nuanced qualities one expects in the style despite the higher ABV.

Williamsburg Aleworks Cafe Royale is fantastic.
Runners up are Imperial Hyperdog and the already mentioned Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro.

    CCB Cafe con Leche
    CCB Moat Water
    CCB Brewer's Brunch

Life is Like is just too sweet for me. The three above absolutely blow it out of the water. Everyone needs to get off the "bourbon aged so must be amazing" kick. I still don't understand how anyone can drink more than an ounce of that stuff. But really nobody comes close to the CCB sweet stouts in general. That includes Moloko and Moo Hoo.

    My top five by rating:

Young's Double Chocolate Stout: 4.3/5 --The one I could drink most of and most often.
Southern Tier Creme Brulee: 4.21/5 --Wallop of flavor. Overly sweet for many, I'd think.
Southern Tier 2x Stout: 4.18/5 --Not much of a milk stout in taste in my mind, but it is texturally.
Left Hand Milk Stout: 4.11/5 --Dat nitro bottle!
Greenbush Mr. Hyde: 4.08/5 --Heavy and more bitter than other milk stouts I've had. Tasty.

All great ones. I definitely couldn't have the Creme Brulee often though.

Left Hand MS Nitro, out of the bottle. Maybe it's just the beautiful magic of the bottle pour...

Odell Lugene is quite delicious as well.

I would have to say 2x Milk Stout by Southern Tier, but it could also be Creme Brulee by Southern Tier as well. Just depends on the day.
