    Anyone know if BCBS will be in San Antonio for Black Friday? Visiting family in New Braunfels then...

    Doubtful. If anyone will have it at that time it would be Gabriels. If it is you can have my share or fight mhensen42 for it. I don't like giving my money to breweries that have spent thousands of dollars to keep TX beer laws antiquated.

    Abyss is/was at Total Wine @75. $17+tax per bottle. Seems higher than other places. They were also charging $18 for Green Monster.

    In the past, I have found Total Wines prices better than Specs(even with 5% discount), but I guess that is only for the regular finds. Good thing they are so close, I usually hit both.

    Any word on Dissident? I'd heard from my guy at Specs on 75/Walnut that they'd be coming together. Whole Foods Park Lane told me the same thing.

    What about the larger Specs in town? I was hoping they would have it Black Friday.

    They usually get their beers after Gabriels. Specs in San Antonio usually will get things 3-4 days after other cities in TX. They might know if you call them. I'm not expecting any places in SA to get it on black Friday. I'm honestly only expecting a few places in TX to have it on black Friday, in fact I'm surprised that any will have it on that day.

    If it helps at all, I went to the Goose Island event at Hay Merchant and met the local Goose Island rep for Houston/Austin. He basically said the same thing Phil just posted. Spec's downtown will get their allotment late in the day Wednesday so they can have it when they open Black Friday. Other places around Houston will get deliveries throughout the day on Black Friday or early the following week.

    Good now all you Houstonites can stay put and leave my BCBS alone.

    Austin Beerworks Heavy Machinery English IPA is out in Austin today. E1G and Sunrise already both got their allotments.
