I'm almost 100% certain they confused Dissident for The Abyss. That would make sense.

$18 for The Abyss @ Total Wine? LOL. I paid $11.99 each last year at HEB, iirc.

Yeah multiple people (Whole Foods and Specs) told me the distributors told them they were getting Dissident AND Abyss this week.

 

The price went up this year by a few dollars (~$17 at the brewery). Lowest I've heard for retail prices so far is $14.

 

That's asking a lot for a beer that isn't even 100% barrel-aged.

We'll see what it shows up for at HEB. I was already getting less keen on this beer in the last few years... might entirely skip it if there's more of a price hike.

The price of molasses & licorice go up or something? LOL.
