First choice is either cases or 12 packs of Sierra N Torpedo. I never run out.
Lately I've also stocked up on Lagunitas IPA, cases at Costco.
Once in a blue moon I'll buy a case of Sierra PA at Costco too, just to have as a started beer.
No blue moon, sorry I mentioned it above!!

    You'll get there.

After a number of years and thousands of beers later, I prefer to buy beer in a 4 pack/6er (one of the things I miss from the states) that I know I like and can just enjoy drinking it.

The irony, that beer is brewed on the opposite coast and that's your go-to?

Whenever I'm in FL, it's Jai Alai, always. Curious to try the Invasion Pale during the next visit...

Yep. Racer was my absolute favorite IPA for years and GF West Coast was my number 2. But you just could not get them down here and then all of a sudden, BOTH breweries came down here within a month of each other! I like Jai Alai a lot, but it's no Racer, IMO. Now, every store in our area has fresh Racer and I've been grateful ever since that it's just available whenever I want it.

Invasion is very good. If you've ever had Daisy Cutter, both taste remarkably similar.

Works out well for you, I think I will have to retry both Racer5 and GF WC again, it's been a couple years since I've had both. I'm less and less interested in IPAs, but always love a can of Jai Alai, I think part of the enjoyment is that it just makes me think of chilling and surfing in FL.

Had Daisy Cutter a couple years back, wasn't all that impressed, but at the time I preferred IPA/DIPA to pales...the opposite is the case these days. Looking forward to Invasion; is it a full time production in cans now?

There's something about the flavors and smells of a fresh IPA. But yeah, I'm not always in the mood for them either. Daisy Cutter and Invasion are more easy drinking. They taste great and are easy to put down if you're at a BBQ or sports event with friends. I think it's full time production now. Just this week, it has exploded down here and everyone has cans of Invasion.

Don't get me wrong, I still appreciate and enjoy my fair share of IPAs, just not at all the way I used to...

Don't believe it's an either/or. Both are very good, but SNPA is imminently more, dare I say, "sessionable"- it still packs a punch. Torpedo is easy to drink, but two does me.

Without disrespecting your opinion, (as I said to another poster earlier) there is never a situation where I would choose SNPA over Torpedo, unless I was perhaps buying for someone who was not myself. At 5.60 ABV vs 7.20 ABV, I do see your point that it could make a difference. Personally, I'd just rather slow down my drinking to enjoy the stronger, hoppier beer.

    That's why SN makes both.

Those are probably my most regular purchases right now. I buy random bombers and a bunch of mixed 6 packs, so that skews things.

Zombie Dust is one of the few I still buy en masse. Largely for trading as I could never drink so much of the same beer, no matter how good.

Next up would be Anti-Hero IPA. One of the best IPAs when fresh, good intro to the style for guests as well. Good extra to throw in during trades.

I often fall back on Ayinger and Weihenstephenar's hefeweizens. It's not uncommon for me to have Sierra Nevada pale ale in the house. And . . . sometimes . . . I'm known to keep *cough* Yuengling *cough*.

What?! Don't judge, it's where I got my start in beer! I have a soft spot in my heart for it.
