IPA Power Rankings

DIPA: Heady Topper, HF Galxay, Lawson's Double Sunshine, PTE ,HF Abner, Founders Double Trouble, FW Double Jack.
IPA: Lawson's Triple play, HF Harlan, Lunch, Two Hearted, Nugget Nectar
(haven't had, PTY, HF Ephraim, Hopslam, Abrasive, Exponential Hoppiness, Citra,

 

bells two hearted and odell IPA are my two favs i can get on the reg here.

 

In no order: Hercules (Great Divide), Union Jack (Firestone Walker), Pliny the Elder (Russian River), Sculpin (Ballast Point), Mad Tom (Muskoka), Smash Bomb (Flying Monkeys), Boneshaker (Amsterdam), Lone Pine (Sawdust City), British IPA (Quidi Vidi Brewing).

That's 9. The last is personal and very biased - it's the only IPA brewed or imported into the Canadian provence of Newfoundland. I filled in the blanks with great Ontario IPA's - which often aren't considered world class, but are really good.

But I have not had Citra, Heady Topper, Alpine. So my votes don't count ha.

 

I like the idea of "power rankings" because Pliny would usually be my answer if someone asked me what my favorite IPA is, but right now it would go:

Boneyard is making the best IPAs right now IMO... wait until they start canning this winter... the forums are going to blow up

I'm with you. Endeavour can hang with the big boys. If it got out of Texas and Louisiana, itd be a household name.
