Yes sir! I love their Java Lava as well. IMO Dankenstein is more of a strong ale, not IIPA so people looking for a hopbomb will be disappointed none the less.

I assume you have heard of New Glarus so I will skip telling you they are a amazing brewery from Wisconsin, I have made it no secret that Moon Man is my all time favorite beer.

If you like hops Ale Asylum is really good, they like using one hop in beers which I just love, really shows all that hop has to offer, you can not go wrong with..

Hopalicious - APA brewed with only cascade.
Bedlam - Citra Belgian IPA. In season 6 months out of the year, spring through early fall.
Ballistic - Amarillo IPA, In season now until springish
Satisfaction Jackson - Centennial DIPA more limited time wise then the others, Very balanced DIPA.
Ambergeddon - a great hoppy amber, still my favorite amber.

Central Waters makes a lot of great beers, and has a awesome barrel program

Lakefront has an amazing IPA and a lot of other solid offerings.

    Wachusett- Winter Ale
I can always count on them for a good priced solid brew, not sure if they've got far out of mass but they are my go-to local brew. I also love jacks abby.

I was in Geneva a month or so ago and had an IPA sampler at Beef and Brew... Naked Dove was in the mix... they were all IPA's I had never tried before and they were all very good! We also did a sampling at the War Horse brewery. I've also had Three Head Skunk Black IPA.... Good stuff!

I live about an hour from each of these:

Southern Tier, which most folks on this forum are already familiar and I feel very blessed to be so close to this great brewery and have been there a few times
Ellicottville Brewing Company, which is a brewpub in Ellicottville, NY, about 45 minutes south of Buffalo
Straub from St. Mary's, PA... I don't drink a lot Straub, but I've had it a few times lately and they don't make hop bombs or stouts, but what they do make is just honest, clean, good refreshing beer

Well obviously Tired Hands is a personal favorite. Literally never had a bad beer from them, and they're only 30 minutes away from me. Plus they make the best damn bread and charcuterie plates EVER. A few favorites off the top of my head...
Such Unique IPA (one of my favorite IPAs of all time)
    Blonde Zombie honey DIPA
    Single Hop Saison - Citra

Love Victory too, who are even closer to me, maybe 15 minutes. Great place to grab a few pints, and that place really gave me a bigger appreciation of more traditional German style beers.

Iron Hill has also put out some great stuff, but they can be hit or miss. Some standouts...
Bourbon Octagon, a BBA quad that was served on nitro. Holy damn was that heavenly stuff...
West Chester Reserve, an oak-aged American wild ale.

My favorite local beer in Cincinnati is Rhinegeist Truth, with Madtree PsycHOPathy a very close second. Some other good breweries in the city are Listermann, Mt. Carmel, Rivertown, and of course, Christian Moerlein/Hudepohl. Moerlein has a beautiful brewpub in between the Reds and Bengals stadiums with a great view of the river. Highly recommended if you are ever in town.

Toasted lager is sold in bottles and cans, unless you mean you personally only like it on tap. That was maybe the first craft beer ive ever tried.

I'll be in Santa Clara for work in January. Where can I get these beers if they don't have a pub or tap room? Thanks.

Favorite local brewery near me is Funky Buddha Brewery. Favorite beers by them so far are usually their limited release beers they have on tap at the brewery from time to time, such as Last Snow, Key Lime Berliner, Nib Smuggler, More Moro, and a few others. For their regular "house beers", Hop Gun is a solid IPA. I still haven't tried Maple Bacon Coffee Porter because every time they tap it, I can't make it over there and it's gone quickly.

Also locally, Due South Brewing in Boynton Beach, Miami Brewing Co in Homestead, and Wynwood Brewery in Miami make some pretty good stuff as well, and have sampled on tap around town.

Funky Buddha is bottling, you'll be able to get some of their beers and I prefer them to Cigar City, personally. Also, Due South is canning and they're rolling out now. Their stuff has been decent but not great, but their new brewer, Kevin, is really talented. He can do great things there.

Knee Deep Brewery is my favorite, hence the user name. 40 minute drive, bonus.
Sierra Nevada isn't far away either and I like a lot of their products. Too much actually...

I went ahead and listed my favorite offering from all of the good local area breweries -- in order of best to least. They are not ordered by favorite brewery however (but pretty close!).

    Three Floyds: Zombie Dust
    Pipeworks: Citra
    Goose Island: BCBS Coffee
    Revolution: Anti-Hero
Local Option: Barrel-Aged La Petite Mort
    Two Brothers: SideKick
    Haymarket (brewpub): Mathias
Begyle: Hophazardly (havent tried many offerings yet)
    Spiteful: Burning Bridges
    Dryhop (brewpub): Shark Meets Hipster
    Half Acre: Akari Shogun
    Piece (brewpub): Dark 'N Curvy
    Metropolitan: Flywheel
Off Color: Troublesome (havent tried many offerings yet)
    5 Rabbit: 5 Vulture

If I left any local breweries off I either haven't had anything yet (e.g. ?) or I just haven't liked anything they've put out (e.g. Finch's, Flossmoor Station, Hopothesis).
