Tongue Tickles

Guess I'll be going towards Glendale tomorrow. They still have a ton of Udder Love?

 

Was lucky enough to snag the last bottle at my local liquor store. It's a really good DIPA, but I got this lingering dry bitterness in the aftertaste that kept it out of mind-blowing category, for me anyway. Still, really good!

 

It's on tap now at Urge in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego

 

Bill's was cleaned out. Found a few at Ramirez Pico Rivera with no problem. Damn good.

 

Thought I'd share... Hollingshead has got quite a nice lineup of IPA's on draft today:

Tongue Tickles
Blind Pig
Ritual Single Rye
Beachwood Thrillseeker
LA Merry Taj
Celebration

Oh, and Le Terrior to mix it up.

 

Picked up a bottle at Whole Foods in El Segundo yesterday.

 

Provisions had a few of them too the other day. Noble just posted on Facebook more bottles will be made available today at the brewery.

 

Got mine from Bottlecraft. What a great beer

 

Pasadena WF has a slew of them in the fridge section. Oddly enough they have Enjoy By sitting on a box out of it.

Had mine on Thanksgiving and was thankful I had picked it up (although I was wishing I'd picked up a few--WOMP, WOMP!) It's the real deal if you ask me (and I know you didn't ).

 

David, I just popped my second bottle, this unfortunately will probably become Citra like in future releases due to the pub its getting and the fact that is just may be the best beer brewed in So Cal.
This is drinking so well, to me it's a mash up of KRBC Citra, a bit of Heady topper and a finish of Pliny. Evan has turned that place on its ear. Between this and Nobility they are poised to take their place in the hierarchy of So Cal craft houses.

I just picked up two bottles of this the day before Thanksgiving. I should have bought the case after trying it but shared the love. Definitely a different profile than Pliny but damn fantastic. Yet another reason why only an asshat would give up special releases for scuff mark states Offerings like Heady, Abrasive, ZD and PS...

 

got 3 bottles in the fridge to go along with Enjoy By and a bunch of other IPA's that should hold me for a few weeks. Will have to give that Iron Fire 5150 a shot.

 

Yeah, I have two bottles in the fridge next to Citra and Racer X. Hope that holds me over for a while. Great stuff. Man, I'm not looking forward to the hype train making this hard to find next time.

 

Tastes like a slightly more bitter Enjoy By. Awesome!
