For every 100 tickets they wanted to sell, they had to have 800 bottles available. That's close to 150 gallons for each 100 patrons. Not sure what size batches they brew, but I'll guess that they allotted for at least 200 tickets. 300 gallons sounds like a nice, round batch size. Of course, they have to barrel age all of it, but that's still just around 100 barrels to store.

I believe they are doing a big bottle release again this year. I'm not sure what is yet.

Do they usually do that on the same day?

I like Central Waters beers. I like that they made these tickets easy to grab, the allotment is very generous and the bottles relatively inexpensive. I liked this beer at FOBAB. Looking forward to this, see you guys there.

Wait, 300 gallons in 100 barrels? 3 gallons per barrel?

Bad math. Good beer. Probably more like 10-20 barrels depending on size, which doesn't sound nearly as daunting. Of course, it would probably just be easier to ask the guys how much they brewed. It's fun to guess, though.

Even if they don't release anything I would highly suggest going to the brewpub. Tons of amazing beer on tap.

Still not sold out? Either they made a TON of this beer (plausible), or I attended a different release for 15 than them. Either way, should be a great time.
