As a single purchase, its a 750 of Kriek De Ranke at around USD 20 equivalent. Per ml wise I am sure it was Westvleteren 12.

One of the few beers that's worth it though, despite being more expensive than my market.

$22 for FW15. Followed closely by Bramble Rye ($20).

There was a thread like this very recently, right before the crash. Oh well.

Holy Shit you paid $45 for 1 Westvleteren 8? As much as I love the beer I would never pay more than about $5 for it

Well I didn't personally buy it but a friend asked me what he should bring to a tasting and I told him a store had 2001 Cantillon LP Kriek for $60 and he brought that. Delicious.

I am currently living in New Zealand and prices are a bit high here. I agree, it's ridiculously high but it was a spur of the moment thing.

I think everyone has made a purchase like this. Fortunately for me it's usually my brother and I that split the cost

Drie Fonteinen Schaerbeekse Kriek/Oude Kriek @ $35 / 750ml Next would be Cantillon Mamouche @ $28 / 750ml The Oude Kriek was definitely overpriced. Just picked up 375s for $10.99. Still one of my favorite beers though.

New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red for 8.50.... I guess I am quite on the cheap side. I have bought $12 4 packs and $15 6 packs but for single beer 8.50 is it.
