Emeryville BevMo. There were still at least a few four packs remaining after I grabbed mine, $24 each.

Stuff always seems to sit longer at that location.

The Goose Island rep at the City Beer event said they had some distribution issues that were delaying the arrival of the variants. We're still supposed to see a limited supply of Backyard Rye. GI had to directly deliver everything to City Beer rather than going through the distributor to ensure they had it for the release.

Can anyone give me an update on availability near Burbank? I'm going to check some places out tomorrow morning and I'd love to get a couple BCBBW, but would be happy with regular BCBS as well.

Best bet will be to try to call around to Bevmos. Seems like they got a lot of BCBS in, depending on the location you may be able to find some still. Didn't find a single Bevmo out of the 4 I checked that got any variants in.

I had some good luck getting some BCBS from the Bevmos near work and home, and was lucky enough to find a pack of BCBCS as well. They don't seem to have received any BCBBW though.

I doubt you're going to find even the regular stuff around now unless you go to a Bevmo in the sticks. The only reason I think they were able to give the "Black Friday" release date on the regular was because they were told to wait to sell it by A-B so a lot of Bevmos getting it at different times all seemed to "get it" at the same time.

Like most other rare releases, they'll probably start selling anything else they get whenever they have it and they probably have no clue when they will *actually* get it from the distributor. Could be today, tomorrow or never.

There are still some Bevmos that have regular BCBS. I just picked up a 4-pack in Irvine yesterday (their last one though).

Is BW or Coffee still available anywhere? I was away for the holidays, plus I'm in the middle of moving so I am late to the game on this one. I'd just trade for them, but right now that market is a little ridiculous. Mandatory "extras" shouldn't involve ass ****.

Hopefully we will see them by the end of this week or next. Just hope your local store has a good relationship with their AB/Inbev rep.

I get the impression that the people who work for Bevmo almost never have a clue about anything unless it is actually sitting in a storeroom in the back, e.g. BCBS prior to Black Friday.

thats true but these were the ostensible "beer dudes" at the stores and knew of the variants and knew/claimed that they were getting none of them

That would definitely suck if they got shut out, they'll likely be the cheapest places to pick them up.

I guess we will see soon enough. :slight_frown:
