    AFIC/TruCraft represents Deschutes. Abyss has landed in BC but it hasn't cleared customs. Only 35 cases arrived rather than the expected 70. The rep predicts that the earliest release would be this Thursday but don't hold your breath.

    Thanks for the heads up.

    In non abyss related news, Breakside Wanderlust IPA's showing up around town. Looks promising, but haven't had any yet.

    It's pretty nice, on the sweet side, pretty festive. Not a big stout but goes down well

    For anyone else getting "This content is unavailable", I'm told the link says:

    "The 2013 Barrel Aged Braggot was made with 450 lbs of Fraser Valley honey and spent one year in bourbon barrels. Each bottle is hand dipped in bee's wax."

    I've had what I believe are younger variants of this (though perhaps they were test batches) at cask festivals and they've been impressive. Very excited to see the finished product at last!

    Gonna have to see it in person… wax looks a bit thin at the cap. Either too hot or beeswax will just do that I guess.

    I am gonna buy the hell out of that Braggot. Beeswax isn't very thick so that's probably why, though I totally dig the fact they used another bee product to seal the bee juice.

    Fair enough. Yeah I'll probably buy a few. Maybe 2 to start and if I really like it I'll buy a bunch.

    Precisely my plan. Ever since lil' red, I'll never buy more than 2 bottles without trying it first...

    It's not like it'll be hard to get as well. Probably still have bottles at Central City Liquor next March.

    Would be nice if it's available as tasters - agreed, I'd be pissed if I had bought a bunch of Lil Red!

    Just tried the Braggart and will definitely be getting a solid handful. This should age quite well (and I want to drink another with Christmas dinner)
