They may drop this week, but the few local places I've talked to have said that the distributor is pretty much keeping them in the dark and, while they have orders outstanding, they have no idea if and/or what they'll receive.

 

Picked up some 4 packs of the coffee at the Livermore BevMo earlier.

 

Talked to a few stores in San Diego. I guess everyone should be getting their first wave this week and next. Hopefully everything works out with getting the variants. It would suck if SD gets the shaft on those.

 

Talked to a guy at hi times and their distributor said they may not be getting any at all. Not sure how they would get shut out. One of the best stores in oc for everything alcohol related and they arent even going to get any bcbs. Thats messed up.

Best store for variety / beer geeks not necessarily best store in terms of moving Goose Island? Plus (entirely anecdotally) it seems like BevMo may have gotten a huge percentage of the overall package.

 

While i agree with that statement they still stock and move a decent amount of ab inbev product. And yes the bigger stores bevmo and total wine did get all of the first round of distrobution. Smaller stores are supposed to be getting it this week. Seems pretty strange that they wouldnt get any

I did google it...and I hoped it wasn't a store in Livermore that I am not near at all, but possibly a store near me that I by chance never heard of...I guess we can dream.

 

Yeah, I dream that the Von's near my house will end up with a bunch of BCBS, and it is on sale for $12.99 a 4-pack.

 

BRB going to NYC/Boston to get my BCBS + variants I don't think I have a chance here, SF is probably entirely out.

Grabbed some barleywine, and more of the coffee at Perry's last night. They also have the 4 sisters still. Despite the reputation they have, all the new releases they have been getting are all at standard prices.

The Livermore Saloon got 2 kegs of Bourbon County stout as well.
