Only not voting due to the fact that I haven't had Dayman. Putting it lightly, W00tstout was not a hit at the tasting that I brought it to. R&R was a great & enjoyable IPA (little to no coconut however... that said, I liked it). Suede wasn't "great" but I really enjoyed the interesting approach to a porter (so, if I had to vote based on what I've had, it'd be Suede).

Dayman came & went before I found any, but I experimented with some RuinTen & coffee beans in a Randall Jr & found the combo to be mind blowing. I never imagined that the combination of coffee & IPA could be so good... & that was just a home infusion. I can only begin to think what Dayman would have been like. I really hope they bring it back.

    • Dayman first, Suede second. Perfect balance of coffee & hops on Dayman, subtle enough to taste flower & prevalent honey on the Suede. R&R lacked coconut, W00t lacked pecans. GREAT brews by all means, but for a ingredient forward beer I didnt taste a lot of what was supposed to be there.
EDIT: how did this bullet point get there?

the only one I got to try was the Suede Imp Porter, and loved it.

That is ridiculous. It was $5.99 at East Bay Bevmo's and up to $8.99 at SF liquor stores. Who was charging 2.5x the suggested retail in SLO area? Glad you got some, but that's some BS pricing.

Dayman was straight up mind blowing...that aroma is one of the best in any beer IMO.

Dayman was delicious for sure, but if they can up the coconut flavor in R&R (was just a good IPA IMHO), I would buy a case on release day.

My favorite was easily Dayman Coffee IPA. Somehow they managed huge coffee notes with huge citrus hop notes and they blended together instead of contrasting. Good stuff. w00tstout was good, but decently hot and I think it will benefit from aging so I have one in the cellar.

I vote for none of the above. No interest in any of those flacid brew ideas. I'd rather spend another $ or 2 and get something like FBS, BCS or Dirtwolf.

Wasn't able to try the Dayman, so I voted for that one.

I'm a little shocked to see this much love for Woot stout. It was awful imo. I voted Dayman. I have a Suede I just picked up but haven't had it yet so maybe I should have waited.

Dayman gets my vote. Wasn't able to get the w00t here in Ohio due to the ABV, and the coconut was just another hoppy fruity IPA to me was not getting much coconut. Suede was okay. Dayman was different and I thought the combo really worked together. Bring it back.

In that order. The coconut flavor just doesn't't hold on long at all. I drank one as soon as it made it here and it was underwhelming to say the least. They were all great beers at a reasonable price.

first time I thought it was a typo, but after seeing it twice, I'm beginning to wonder if you pronounce it that way too: "suedu" (swayDEW) Sounds nice. A little Frenchie, but nice.

lol my iPhone didn't correct me so I thought it was correct I pronounce it swayduh

but I payed 6.99 for it and kinda regretted it as I could get much tastier beer for that

It was a bar in Pismo, so the markup isn't too aggregious, even though they should have discounted it for a to go sale. What's ridiculous is that it didn't make it to the South Bay, but seeing as I already ranted about beer distro issues in the South Bay in an Abyss thread, I'll spare everyone.
