So far it's Thirsty Dog - 12 Dogs of Christmas. It beat the Belgians and I still have Southern Tier, Natty Greens and RJ Rockers to evaluate. Trying to get GL Christmas, but so far, no luck. In short, 12 Dogs is a howlin' fine beer.

By far Hardywood's Gingerbread Stout (with the harder to fetch bourbon barrel version being even better).

Was wondering if anyone had any beer traditions you do with the holidays coming up? My favorite is to drink a bomber of Alpha Klaus Christmas Eve while playing Santa for my boys......

I always try to have a few special beers on X-Mas Eve and X-Mas. Last year I believe it was GI BCBCS and Black Tuesday. Not sure yet for this year tho. Maybe GI BCBCS or BCBW if they ever hit out this way in NY.

My dad (who got me into drinking good beer 20 years with stuff like Anchor, Pete's, and Dockstreet) and I always make a point to split some good beers on Christmas Eve.

Not really sure why, but I tend to drink a lot of Belgians around the holidays (mostly dubbels and strong darks)

I agree with many of the comments above, especially Celebration, but what about the Belgium Christmas beers, I always go back to corsendonk Christmas ale. I always look forward to them

Indeed I do. Every Christmas Eve me and my fiance open up a bottle of Founders KBS and sip on it while watching some Christmas movies. One of my favorite things to do every year.
