My buddy is tying the knot in Punta Cana this January and his bachelor party is quickly approaching. I just found out the guy planning it hasn't done a thing...so I've kind of tasked myself with setting this up. I have been introducing him to good craft beers over the last couple years and he has heavily implied he would like to do something in Minneapolis and hit a brewery and/or a good craft beer bar for sure.
I've been to plenty of the taprooms and bars in the Minneapolis area, but am not sure the best route to take. Has anyone ever setup anything like this or does anyone have recommendations? I'd prefer to be able to get a hotel and walk so we don't have to worry about anyone driving. My immediate thought was Fulton because that taproom kind of screams bachelor party to me, but I don't know, something about it doesn't feel right.

Thanks in advance for any ideas, criticism, etc!

Indeed, Dangerous Man, and 612 have nice taprooms, but no hotels nearby. Farther out is Liftbridge also with a nice taproom. My choice would be Indeed.
Another option would be to stay at the Marriott by Seven Corners - lots of good beer places within walking distance.

Somehow you have to work Town Hall/Republic in there!

Did a bachelorette party this summer where we rented a party bus, filled it with craft beers and had the bus bring everyone to Dangerous Man, Indeed and 612. Everyone had a great time,

The party bus idea does sound like a good idea. Lots of room for whatever, whoever, etc. and everyone gets a safe, legal ride to wherever you go and you can barhop if you want.

Who did you get the party bus from?

Just Google "party bus" and Minneapolis and you should find plenty of options.

I hear The Vu has a great a great hot dog buffet...

I've seen plenty of party buses roll up to surly. Not sure how big your party will be, so keep that in mind. Some taprooms are a bit better suited for a larger crowd.

I will Google it, but if someone had a good experience with a certain company I'd like to know about.
I'm thinking our group will be under 20, and probably realistically closer to 10.

I'm thinking there was a better hot dog "buffet" at the old Buns and Roses when it was open.

The Marriott at seven corners has already been mentioned, but Republic, Town Hall, and Acadia are all in easy walking distance. No party bus needed.

A friend of mine owns a party bus company...I can check with him if you're really interested. Might I suggest a bottle share at my house instead?

I thought it was a holiday inn next to town hall, regardless this would be my idea of the best plan.

Shows that it's been too long since I've been there.
