BCBS Variants in OC/LA this week?

Yep. Ran out of coffee early, but they said that they still have Barley Wine.

 

Yeah, went in the afternoon and grabbed barleywine, but he had split it into a 4 pack of two BW and two regular BCBS...

 

Damn and they are out already.. I didn't see this until now. LB Bevmo also got a case and someone sniped both cases of BCBCS and BW

 

i went to Buzz Beer and Wine in downtown LA tonight because i heard they were going to have the coffee and barley wine for sale in 4 packs. plus a tasting.

had tasting. coffee was gone. fine. had barley wine. price was 42 dollars.

fucking joke. will be the last time i go to that place. their selection is pretty bad too

i called buzz and they said $12 per bottle.

 

I would've turned around and walked right out.

 

vendome fullerton got another case of each... but u can only buy em if you buy tickets to their tasting next week... wtf

 

I knew it would be expensive at Buzz, but I didn't think it would be that bad. Their prices are out of control.

 

fuck that place. seriously.

It's rather hard to find. I have a proportion of 4:2:1 Regular, BW, Coffee. Where are you based out of?

 

I live in OC, work in Pasadena, and go to the Torrance area on weekends. I tried the Manhattan Beach Bevmo but they were all out.

 

There was similar price gouging for FW Velvet Merkin at Buzz. $30 a bottle for something that you could still walk into a BevMo and get for half the price.

 

i'm honestly never going to go there again. that's a promise!

Buzz is awful. Stopped in last week, they clearly don't know what they're doing.

 

I agree, Buzz is awful, tried to give it a chance, then I saw they were charging $12 for 1 bottle of BCBS...

 

hey guys, I don't normally post but I just wanted to let everyone know that there's BCBS, BCBW, AND BCBCS at a lot of Orange County Whole Foods today - definitely some in Tustin and Laguna Beach (just got back from there), and probably more in other stores as well. I believe they're only being sold in singles at Laguna Beach, not sure about Tustin.

now, if only I could find the Backyard Rye....

 

just came back from Tustin WF, no Bourbon County to be seen (also confirmed with main beer guy)

 

That's some bad intel but a relief for me since I just left irvine. As of 15 ago wf hb has single bcbs and barley. $5.50
