How long do you enjoy a beer?

Usually 20-30 minutes. Long enough to thoroughly enjoy.

 

Depends on the altitude. Day of the week, first beer or no, type of beer, the company I'm with and where I am, but other than that pretty damned fast. Just saw John Prine live and I'm pumped. Cheers.

 

Completely depends on my mood and the beer. BCBS took me an hour for my first and only (so far) one. Ten Fidy tends to take about 20 minutes while Dirt Wolf I can crush in 4 minutes. I tend to appreciate certain beers more the harder they are to obtain.

 

I'd like to say I drink slow but not quite as slow as some others on here. I def like to feel the effects of the alcohol when I'm drinking the beer I bought. The people saying that it might take them 45 mins to an hour regardless of style or abv, I can't imagine your even catching any sort of buzz whatsoever when your drinking beers with an abv any lower than %5.5.......IDK Probably just me, since I'm a "Noob" but I enjoy the taste of beers but would feel like I missed out on something if I didn't at least get a little drunk while drinking them.

A good beer is like a good woman: sometimes I want to take my time and make sure I experience every ounce of her deliciousness and other times I just want to slam her down and get the job done.

 

IPAs and dry beers I tend to down within twenty minutes, I just take big sips. Something where it develops or at least holds up with warmth and time like BCBS could easily be an hour.

 

Depending on how long it takes to drink I definitely don't catch a buzz at times. Earlier this year me and 2 other friends split a 2008 Dark Lord and despite it being 15% because I took 2 hours to drink my portion I didn't feel anything. Awesome experience though!

 

I remember back in college, when I was interested in getting messed up, I could drink about four beers in an hour pretty comfortably (I've never been one to like to chug...or bong beers). I doubt I could do this for two full hours though. Now, I think most beers will take me around 25-35 minutes to drink with stouts being a big longer.

with me it varies quite a bit. i like to take my time and savor the taste, but sometimes it's just so damn good i end up drinking it fast. bigger beers tend to slow me down though.

Spent about 5 minutes with an IPA dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic at a brewery down the street last night. Couldn't put it down.

 

My record is 4.9 seconds.
