Does anyone know if San Diego will be getting any of the BCBS variants? Seems like LA is getting some in but not hearing much about San Diego.

Oh wow, is BCBS going to be in California? There's no other threads on this at all!

San Diego's definitely getting the shaft on varients.

So basically you clicked on the thread to complain that there are too many threads on the topic. Not sure what that makes you.

It will be a shit storm at Whole Foods (La Jolla). I casually asked one of the beer guys today if they had BCBS in (as somebody in the store alerted me that they might), and he said that they've gotten over 100 phone calls today asking the same question.

I can take it or leave it on the variants, but I'd like to see the barleywine. It is highly unlikely I'll hit the store at the correct time interval, though.

I don't know how many the WF stores are allotted, but so far I've heard the northern WFs received only a case of the BW each. Late to the party every time.

Time interval is the tricky part for sure. I thought I was pretty diligent in stalking shops to get in on the variants, but so far have turned up dry due to others getting the scoop (damn you, day job!!). That's assuming the stores I can reliably check on a constant basis even get the variants in, because for all we know it's still unknown how much is still going around.

Ca definitely did not get the shaft. We might not have gotten much or any of the varients, but come on guys regular BCBS was able to be bought and didn't have to be traded for!

I know, man. It's nice to not have to deal with the trade forum.

Any specifics on which liquor stores will be graced with the illusive beverages?

    Buy Local. Buy Speedway.

If BA Speedway was made available in 12 oz bottle 4-packs for $20-$24, I'd buy it without hesitation.

    What's so deceptive about BCBS?

Elusive would be the intended verb, but I guess the availability is somewhat "deceptive". Thank you autocorrect.

I would prefer to support the local team but the local team doesn't provide the product I want in my preferred format at a reasonable price. The closest anyone's gotten was GF with Silva Stout batch 1 for $16 a 4-pack. If I could get that again, even at $24 a 4-pack, I'd do it.
