    I didn't have to, but if I wanted to purchase my first ever BCBCS, the liquor store I went to made you also purchase a lesser Goose Island. Not great, but palatable:

    While out building my stock of holiday ales tonight, for consumption later in the month, I decided to splurge on some Resin (freakin' $8.50 for 4-pk? It's good, but not when I can 6ers of 2Heart or Flowerpower for ~$9). Anyway, a few of my XMas guests will get the rest of these, which they can't get at home....

    I cut up an orange and poured two Shock Top into a Quart Ball jar over top of it. The oranges cut any bitterness from the ST and were very tasty right after. I ate the orange at the end and it was beery nice.
