Jered Weaver has more no-hitters than Albert Pujols has homeruns...

I was going to suggest hitting Beer Revolution in Oakland like several others have said, 47 taps and good prices are definitely worth the stop. Any chance there are still spots open for the Anchor tour? I've been trying to get in there for quite some time but I've been pretty busy. BTW I live in Santa Clara, shoot me a BM so we can grab beers/have a little tasting/trading sesh.

That's a good idea, I can show up and Mark and I can have a post-on-BA-off.

Do you know Kurtis (leschkie)? We will be staying with him while we're in the area.

Its too bad your trip starts in the SF area, but if it were me I would definitely cancel the dinner at Lagunitas and head up to 50/50, in Truckee, and have dinner there! Their food is amazing, especially the Half Moon Bay Burger, and also they have amazing beer on tap, like RyePa and Landslide (and possibly Eclipse?!?!?)! It's definitely worth the trip!:grinning: Oh, and also they are only about 2 1/2 hours from SF!

Sweet, even better! A tasting is a must then.

Yeah, I know Kurtis mentioned trying to throw something together, but what with all of his trips up to RR and back (and now Hill Farmstead??!), I'm sure he hasn't even thought about it yet

Awesome plan. Wish I was going along. I agree that it's probably overly ambitious to be at FW by 11:30 following an A's game the previous night. It's probably doable if you get on the road by 7 am, but I dunno if I'd want to be up and about that early on vacation. (And I assume you have a good reason for wanting to head back out into the valley to Bakersfield for dinner... not really a place known for fine dining!) I probably wouldn't want to try to do Stone, Alesmith, and Lost Abby in one afternoon: You could easily spend 2-3 hours at Stone alone, they have a really awesome beer garden. But hey, no reason not to attempt it, assuming you've got a designated driver. Bottom line is that traffic can be bad almost anywhere in California these days, so just allow about 50% more time than you think it's going to take and you'll probably be fine.

Any chance you can stop in @Churchill's during this leg of the journey? It's just a few miles away from The Lost Abbey. Churchill's Finest Hour on me!

From everything I've read the past three weeks, it sounds like the '12 is the one to get.

I'm pretty sure this is every weekend for Eric and pretty often it's an average Wednesday.

Ouch. That's not the case. He just actually still plays for St. Louis. He just doesn't want the Angels to win the WS so I don't get a bunch of beer in my BIF.
