Merkins have finally arrived! Huzzah!

Also Sunrise Minimart apparently has Small Batch #7 from Ranger Creek now, a sweet potato stout. Sounds like it could be very tasty.

 

This apparently is showing up around town.

 

I heard that there was more than 800 cases just for Dallas alone, so I don't think this will be difficult to find, fwiw...

 

I've also been told it could possibly be around $15 a bomber this year too because the barrels were more expensive.

My wife told me I had a "beer buying" problem yesterday (specifically saying not a drinking problem, lol). Obviously it's been a good month.

That's what I do..."I'm only buying Torpedo at the grocery for the rest of the month." Works a lot of the time. But the past few weeks have been nuts. All these good stouts....I'm helpless against them.

I actually stopped by just to check on BCBS around 11:30, and the girl mentioned they had gotten Merkin in. She had to go somewhere to get it(maybe from the shelf) but mentioned that the rare releases are kept behind the bar. I assumed it was one-per. I had asked specifically where the rarer beers where kept, because I didnt even know WF had gotten BCBS before the earlier post.

Im guessing I was one of the first to get a Merkin there(very possibly wrong). I think they mentioned two cases.
