Yah, I was going to say that some employees may be cool about it, but it's the policy of Fedex and UPS that you have to be licensed to ship alcohol. Some bubble wrap and and possibly an extra bag will do you fine or you could hit a Home Depot for boxes, tape, bubblewrap, and stuffing (cheaper than office supply stores for that kinda stuff) and take them to UPS or Fedex and not tell them the contents, but that seems like more trouble than biting the bullet on bag fees and checking them and not necessarily much cheaper either.

    Speakeasy isn't that far away.
There is a BevMo off of Bayshore.
Plenty of crack and other stuff in that hood. Bring your .40 cal.

Glad you had a good trip. That's crazy that you can't ship booze anymore. I guess it has been a number of years since I have shipped any wine, but it used to be no big deal. All the fed ex shops in Sonoma and Napa had shipping kits put together and flat rate shipping for cases.

Glad you got your beer home. There is a lot to love in San Francisco. Miss that place a lot.
