What can I do about an unresponsive trader?

    I had a trade lined up via BM with someone here and I sent it and my tracking shows they got it, 3 weeks ago.

    Long story short, I waited until this past Monday and BM'd the guy asking what's up and I sent him the tracking info. No response whatsoever.

    What can you do in a case like this? Sorry if this is noobish but I'm pretty new to the trading. My first 2 trades here went flawless...

    Easy...

    Out the person so that others who are in the planning stages, or will be making trades with this person can check with due diligence.

    Has the person logged on since you sent the email?

    Maybe someone on the forum knows the person and can see wtf is going on.

    Three weeks is plenty of time to have shipped or at least came up with a sob excuse for a delay.

    I know there will be the "come to the rescue of the bad trader" crew chiming in, but would you want to know about this if you were in the planning phase of your trade with them currently?

    Would you still make the trade?

    A little more info, it looks like he has not read his messages since 6 days before he got my package so perhaps he has not logged on, or read the messages. I sent a new message giving him until Friday to let me know what's going on or I will out him. Seems fair to me.

      I just checked the tracking (797190765065) and it was delivered a long time ago.

      C'mon dude you are clearly slacking on this trade. Get it shipped please.

    Is this the bad trader?

    If so thanks for the heads up.
    Not sure why everyone wants to protect poor traders ( whatever the definition )

    Yes MarkVegas is the unresponsive trader. I did not want to call him out until he had a chance to respond but it's too late now.

    I don't see any harm in making his name public at all. It alerts others so that they may avoid a potential bad trade, IMO. If he makes good on the trade, also make that known to the public, in this same thread.

    Are you supposed to be getting the DDBA and Parabola?

    OP, did you vet this guy as a reputable trader or ask for any references? His profile is as bare as a baby's ass. I'm not saying he isn't a poor trader for logging into BA and not responding to you (he is) but you need to make sure as a "new trader" you're trading with traders in good status that will have your back.

    Well I can't say I vetted him per se but I thought he seemed legit from the list of his cellar he had a link to in a different trading thread.

    I will be more careful from now on.

    I was hoping the beer thievery was gone. I suppose no amount of legislation or easy to use forums can eliminate a thiefs and slug, it should be his last trade here.
